Founded by Javier Gutiérrez Abril, our commitment runs deep, touching every facet of our operation. We're not just about sourcing coffee; we're about making a positive impact. Our green initiatives, like planting 450 trees in the Scottish Highlands and partnering with coffee farms such as Finca Medina (their innovative water reuse in coffee bean processing, setting a new standard for sustainability in the industry) highlight our dedication to environmental conservation.
Our presence at the Glasgow Coffee Festival is not just about presenting our sustainably sourced coffee; it's about sharing our comprehensive approach to the coffee journey. Our team in Glasgow skillfully handles all import paperwork, ensuring a seamless transition from the farm to your cup. Figment Coffee

At Figment Coffee we seek out coffee beans of extraordinary flavour, quality and processing. We roast them by hand to specific profiles that bring out the differences in flavour that the variety, terroir and processing methods impart. We believe it is our job as a roaster to tell the story of each coffee and to honour the farmers who grow them to create sustainable coffees of beauty and distinction. This year at Glasgow Coffee Festival we will be taking the opportunity to discuss processing. We will be bringing three Ethiopian coffees created from the same beans, from the same farms, by the same farmers but processed in three different ways. This will give the visitors to our stand a unique opportunity to taste the impact of process on coffee, and believe us it is striking. The second area of focus will be to let attendees taste the coffees that we sourced and selected on our recent origin trip to Ecuador and Colombia. We tracked down some fantastic coffees and we cant wait to share them with you
